The MALE story

We have been quite maligned, we guys are, to no end. The days of males dominating the fairer sex have long gone, faded into history. There may be some pockets, where the male has an upper hand, but these are likely to be in the equatorial forests, deep down where no civilized human (I am afraid to say “man” here) has reached before.

These days, if I hold open a door for a girl, I am greeted with a terse look (and maybe a few bad words murmured under clenched teeth à MCP ). Then there are other cases, like I winking at sebz, and being accused of sexual harassment, while still other….like not sending a flying kiss to keshi…and being branded an indifferent deplorable insolent unfair MALE species. Uffff how do we respond and act?? :(

The next time I pull a chair for a gal, if I see such derogatory expressions, I am going to pull one, and pull the chair still further, and let that pretty bottom descend to the floor……not so smoothly.

As for the GIRLWATCHING episode, painted so one-sidedly by sebia :P , we need to look into the psychology of the poor MALE, who has to meekly sit in a corner, sandwiched between his doting parents, while the GIRL happily moves around tea trollies, dances (and even sings)….makes him eat (ghoulish ?? ) preparations which he has to digest, at his own peril. And imagine the momentous task of going through this procedure time and again. Besides, I wonder why the girl should feel bad about anyone asking her to present her singing talents ;) Yaar it is difficult to find such ready audience. And what more chance can a girl have to avenge what she is going thru, if ever she feels she is being berated? :P

Besides, though the girl sings any tune, she definitely sings a different tune when she crosses over to her sasuuraal......and makes all of them dance to her tune......;) The husband has to toil to keep up with his adoring wife's demands....bechara thakaa haara aata hai ghar pe...to these days he has to help his wife do the dishes, and tend to the baby's diapers....:( On the first day of the month he puts all the salary in his wife's hand, and gets a few rupees / dollars / dinars in exchange to spend on his escapist cultivated habits of paan / bidi / tobacco / beer et al :)

Common guys, stand up to your side instead of siding with the gals...:P

OK lemme continue.....do we guys ask to be treated as equals? No. It is the girls who want to be treated as equals, because deep down in their minds they feel they are not as good as males. Males never said gals are unequal.....;) (covers himself with shields....afraid all the gals of IT are going to slaughter me and drain the last drop of blood that dares to flow thru my body)

I feel I should stop here to see the response .....coz I wish my remains to be donated, to be of use to the needy.......and if I continue in this fashion.....vultures will be afraid to touch me....:P

All those chivalry acts are a rarity in guys these days, or am I yet to meet you? LOL, pulling the chair a bit too further may only fetch you some sharp blows, unless you want a red rosy cheek, dont even try that. And those men who dance to women's tune are probably the ones whom their wives thought would be model husbands but they instead turned out as working models ;)

Lol I wish more such men were thr who would actually place thr salary in wife's hand as women are better managers.
Anyway Conditional and non-conditional cash transfer schemes in developing countries have shown that direct subsidies given to women do far more to improve the economic health of families and reduce inter-generational poverty than giving the benefits to men. This is just one such example. If u actually go by govt's policies u will find the paradigm shift thr. Anyway it was a pan india view.

If we consider the scenario of metros then at ur point whr man comes from office and he has to do some household chores, i would jst like to say that Nowadays when women can work and she can look after the house as well then it's the least a man can do.
